Disneyland Resort Snow White Holiday Mug
Last week I made it to Disneyland for the final week of the holiday decor. I was surprised to find that the Snow White holiday mug was still available!
They also made a popcorn bucket but it was no longer available when I was there.

WDW radio Holiday Ornament exchange
For the last three years I have participated in the WDW radio ornament gift exchange. When you sign up you can give your favorite Disney character, and while you are not required to send an ornament that is that character, I have been lucky enough to receive Snow White ornaments all three years. The first year I received some handmade ornaments that featured Snow White. In 2014 I recieved this boxed set that was avaliable at Target:
This year I got this beautiful light bulb shaped ornament. I am so impressed with this ornament! It was actually made from a light bulb.
If you are interested in participating next year, be sure to watch WDW radio blog around November for the sign ups.
Happy New Year Whistle While We Blog readers! May this year bring you and your family much happiness and health.

D23 Light up the Season Event
On December 4th I had the opportunity to attend the D23 Light up the
Season event at the Burbank Studio Lot. I had a wonderful time. You
could have a photo taken with Pluto (dressed as a reindeer), Sorcerer
Mickey, and Santa. The studio theater was playing holiday classics.
There were a variety of vendors selling wares and a Mickey's of Glendale
pop up shop. The studio Disney store was open as well. The D23 choir
performed and they had a lighting of the tree ceremony. Every guest got
a hot chocolate and a cookie and there was cotton candy and popcorn available for free and food to purchase in the commissary. The studios was all decorated; including my favorite building.

I was surprised at the amount of space guests could wander around in - the studio was open from the Legends Plaza to past the commissary.
Speaking of commissary - I learned that the eating areas have Snow White artwork! Check out the wall.
In another section we did not get into there were pictures of Snow White on the wall. I will definitely have to be on the look out next time I am on the lot.
One other surprise was that they had a Snow White Tweet Suite where you could have a commemorative photo taken in a Snow White background.

They also had four activity sheets that you could take |
We had a terrific time snapping pictures and wandering around - in fact, they even had some Disney magic where it snowed!! I was just sad that it was such a short time (2 hours). We spent a long time waiting to visit the studio store and in retrospect, I wished we had skipped that. I hope they do it again next year!

Finding Snow White in Downtown Disney, Walt Disney World
Downtown Disney is undergoing a lot of change right now, but there are a lot of Snow White references throughout the area.
First stop is Disney's Days of Christmas where you will find on the seventh day of Christmas (of course) the dwarfs!
In Once Upon a Toy, you will find the Wishing Well on a monopoly board behind a cash wrap
In the Market Place Co-Op, the Beautifully Disney logo featuring the queen and Snow White is on the wall
If you go into Guest Realtions, Snow White is on the wall with other sample photos
Next stop is the World of Disney:
Outside the Lego store are a few of my favorite Lego displays...ever!
In D- Street you can find the magic mirror on a vinylmation cutout.
Disney's Candy Cauldron is just awesome!
Speaking of candy, a walk back to where we started will get you to Goofy's Candy Company where you can find the periodic table of elements - Disney Style! This is one of my favorites!
