WDW Radio Cruise!

I am getting very excited because this summer is going to be an awesome Disney filled adventure.  To kick it off I will be heading out on the Disney Dream with the WDW Radio Group for a Double Dip Cruise.  I can't wait to do a post about finding Snow White on the Dream!

Kmart Garden

With the warm weather upon us I have been thinking about my patio.  I few months ago I came across some great patio decor at Kmart.

The garden swing N ring sell for $16.99.

The wobble statue sells for $19.99.  I found these very odd - in the garden, how well will they wobble?

These more traditional statues sell for 24.99.

Not Snow White, but I am in love with the Tsum Tusm line and these garden 'stones' are just so adorable!

Wonderground Gallery

Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney is one of my favorite places.  On a recent visit I picked up a few postcards that I just fell in love with:

This is part of a four part piece by Jerrod Maruyama titled Spring Flowers made for the EPCOT flower and garden festival.  Isn't she the cutest?

"A Villains Apple" by Gregg Visintainer

If you've never looked closely at Gregg's work, you are missing out.  Can you see the Evil Queen?

A larger budget could have gotten me a this version
Both postcards retail for $4.99

April Snow White News and Updates

Disney on Ice cast members showed how to make Snow White's Apple Chips on Michigan News.

How did I miss this?  Walgreens has a Snow White exclusive in the Mystery mini box!  Does anyone else find mystery packs wonderful and awful all at the same time?

Jamberry released another Snow White nail wrap.  Are you a fan of nail wraps?

I love this reward available from Disney movie Rewards - Mickey carving the Snow Dwarfs?  Too Cute!

Another Snow White character has shown up in the next blind bag wave of tsum tsums.

Filmic light has a great 1940s bottle that I must find!  Are you familiar with Giuseppe Armani figures?  Filmic light did a whole series on these - they are fantastic.  I love merchandise for Snow White's forest friends and these plush for 1938 are wonderful.  Some of my favorite things in my personal collection are promotional tie-ins that Disney did with various companies over the years.  And when you think Snow White, you think....Ham right?   This item is next level bonkers!

I love the Primark cosmetic bag with a Snow White pop art style.

A new art show: Never Grow Up is opening and it has some Snow White inspired art - check it out!

Los Angeles Magazine wrote about the refurbishment of the Snow White's Grotto.

Steve Thompson - Disney artist extraordinaire - posted a great Snow White doodle.

One day I will make it to Epcot flower and garden festival but until then I will just enjoy this Sneezy doodle.

Did you try the crazy new Starbucks drinks?  Chip and Co are dreaming up a Snow White version.

This year's Grand Floridan display featured a beautiful Evil Queen inspired Easter Egg.

Deja View featured an article on Disney Roughs featuring a few of our favorite sidekicks.

I'm going to need a copy of this Joey Chou Snow White print - so cute!

David Johnson's new book on Snow White's people finally came out - stay tuned for a review.

Hope you enjoyed all these articles and links.  Thanks for reading!

Disney Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Easter!

The eggs from the 2017 Downtown Disney eggstravaganza
Earlier this month I went to Downtown Disney to try out the Eggstravagnza Egg Hunt.  I was hoping for a egg themed to Snow White, but no such luck.  I did have a great time and the hunt will continue through 4/22.  If you are around - check it out!

Here is my map (sorry for not taking the picture before I started hunting!).  You can purchase it at most stores owned by Disney - I got mine at the Pin shop.

These are the eggs we picked at the redemption center in World of Disney

Disney's Dress Shop

Snow White dress at Vault 28
Last weekend Disney opened The Dress Shop in Disney Springs.  Here in California, Vault Disney got a variety of the dresses.  Of course, I had to go and check it out when I saw a Snow White inspired dress.  I was not disappointed!  The dresses were flying off the self and I got lucky in grabbing the size I wanted but check out how amazing it is:

When you purchase the dress it comes in this wonderful dress bag - note the Mickey on the bow.

Here is my dress - the "bites" out of the apples are actually silhouettes of the dwarfs!

Disney Dress Shop

I was this article on the Disney Parks Blog and I am so excited!  I love vintage dresses and I can't wait to get my hands on this Snow White dress:
I will be heading to Downtown Disney to try and score on of these dresses.  Anyone else excited by all these exclusive and themed merchandise items?  I love so many of them, but it's hard to keep up!

Box Lunch Gifts

I recently saw a photo of some Snow White pins on Instagram and had to find where they came from.  Come to find out they are from Box Lunch and there was a shop in a city nearby, so off I went.

The store has an mission as seen below from their website:
BoxLunch is a civic-minded web + brick and mortar based specialty retailer offering a curated collection of licensed and non-licensed merchandise. With every $10 spent on our pop culture-themed product offering of apparel, accessories, home goods, gift and novelty, and collectibles, BoxLunch will help provide a meal secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks. Visit here for more information.

I am a bad blogger and didn't take any pictures.  I was so excited I forgot!  But for those who don't have one near, they do have a website too.

I love this Art Nouvea shirt

I almost bought this Tank Top, but it is a 'muscle' tank with huge arm holes.

Sadly, I don't see the pin set online and they were out of stock in store.  If you find one, let me know!

Getting Crafty - Snow White buttons!

Recently I bought a button maker and I have gone button crazy!

I ordered a started kit off Amazon from Badge-A-Mint.  Based on reviews I wasn't sure how it would work.  I didn't need to worry!  As long as you follow directions, you get excellent buttons!

The machine came in a cute box with a carry handle - a nice touch.

At first all the parts are over-whelming, but once you get going, it is so easy to use!

I had been saving old calendar pages from those tear-a-day calendars without a clear idea of what to make.  Now I know...buttons!

And now...the buttons!
The starter kit only came with 10 buttons, so I've already ordered additional buttons to make!
