Happy Almost Halloween!
It's hard to believe that the end of October is here! If you are looking for some Snow White related ways to celebrate - be sure to check out the following:
* Carve a Snow White pumpkin with a template from Disney Family
* Download an Evil Queen wallpaper for your laptop, tablet, phone...from Disney Parks Blog (there are a few different ones including a new one for Disneyland's 60th)
* Put together a Villains party with lots of ideas from Disney Family
* Play a game of Dig for Apples

2,000!
An amazing thing happened last weekend...my collection reached the 2,000 mark! It can not believe that I now own 2,000 pieces of Snow White memorabilia. A long time ago I started a spread sheet as a way to inventory the items I own and some time ago I started putting pictures of the collection in my Google photos. I can't tell you how valuable that has been. Keeping the inventory and the on-line photo gallery is great for insurance purposes, for checking "do I have that?" while at collectible shows, and for family members to check and see if that ebay Christmas gift they are bidding on is something I own or not. If you want to check out my collection - see the collection page at the top of this blog.

Mickey Monthly Snack Box
Today's post has nothing to do with Snow White, but it is definitely Disney related! I love getting mail, but so often it is just boring junk mail and lots of evil bills. SO, I am thrilled to have received my first Mickey Monthly Box! I have gotten on the subscription box wagon and signed up for a snack only box. While I live in Southern California, I don't make it to Disneyland as much as I would like (and with passes on the rise, it looks like it will go back to a once a year trip for me). Anyway, I saw this box and thought it was perfect for me!
Here is the description of the box I signed up for:
"Monthly snacks and treats from Disney World, automatically delivered directly to your door, every month. We hand-pick each package from a large selections of WDW treats you can only get from your favorite vacation destination (until now)."
I lucked out and signed up in the month of September when they were running a special: a free Tsum Tsum and a Mickey rice crispy treat! My package level includes two to three treats each month...so here is what I got:
Overall, I am excited about receiving this box each month! When I signed up, I wasn't sure if I would continue to the subscription. But after opening my box and seeing all the goodies, I think I will keep the subscription for the time being.

What a great box to open! Those sour balls are one of my favorite of all time! I miss the green only bag - but red is my second favorite color! |
So I got four treats this month: Rock candy, Sour cherry balls, shortbread cookies, and, my favorite, the Donald Halloween bag with sour gummy pumpkins! And check out the Ursula Tsum Tsum. |

Walgreens Villians Make-up
I was up in beautiful Big Bear this weekend when I saw this in the local Walgreens:
So cool! I picked up some of the make-up remover wipes that had all three girls (Queen, Maleficent, and Ursula) on the bag. They also had blush, lipstick, eye shadows and a beauty book that featured the Evil Queen. There was also some hair accessories by Scruncci. Being on vacation, I didn't think to snap any pictures of the other items. I already visited my local Walgreens with no luck finding this Fall 2015 line. I am on the hunt for an Evil Queen make-up bag and brushes. Apparently, these starting popping up in stores in late August.
